</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>The challenge is about our self sewn clothes. After those days I gave up on a few garments that no longer made sense to me, the dress in day 22, the one of the 23, skirt from 24, shorts from 27, cardigan from 28 and the peplum on 30. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>It is a self challenge, and each person can have a different goal in mind. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>I particularly liked 2018. From all the garments in these photos, there's only one I don't own anymore, the short blue dress. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><b>And so we get to last year's, 2020. It was going pretty well, I skipped just a couple of days, and I got to sew myself two new pieces - a lingerie set. Personally though, I was going through a rough, with my dad in the hospital. The challenge was completely set aside, when he passed the 22nd. I'm really into doing it again this year, I want to wear one of my me mades every single one of the 31 days, but at the same time it's the first year of my dad's passing and it brings feelings to the surface. I plan of posting my looks daily on instagram and make a wrap up weekly here on the blog. Oh, and from last year's I did not give anything away, am still wearing all of them. Everytime I feel more and more satisfied with what I sew for myself, I think my choices more thoughfully, I guess. </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;">Quem daí desse lado pretende participar também?</div><div style="text-align: right;"><b>Who's also joining it out there?</b></div><div style="text-align: right;"><i><b><span style="font-size: medium;">#memademay2021</span></b></i></div></div><p></p></div>Magdahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07247442966829636679noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432192910642217762.post-90313123157446552522021-04-21T08:30:00.001+01:002021-04-21T08:30:00.223+01:00Self Drafted Lunch Bag<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Scroll down for english, please!</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VotG6uX7PRE/YElGkaP5dPI/AAAAAAAAN0k/VnOSYe1G58cKOKTcorjhOOM3KtayQ9howCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_estrela_lunchbag002.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VotG6uX7PRE/YElGkaP5dPI/AAAAAAAAN0k/VnOSYe1G58cKOKTcorjhOOM3KtayQ9howCLcBGAsYHQ/w480-h640/House_of_estrela_lunchbag002.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Quando se aproximou o aniversário da minha amiga e colega de trabalho não sabia bem o que lhe oferecer. How's 2021 been for you so far? We are in lockdown once again, and suddenly Portugal became the country with more covid cases when looking at numbers by population. Personally, me and my family have escaped from the virus so far, hope as many as possible of you are save too. We all have enough about this already, so let's move to the good stuff, and the good stuff is always about sewing, of course. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5WwYdLrkc58/YBMC3xtx9II/AAAAAAAANu8/-iYVSWjqQO0XL9CTIKC97VY4k352qmsAwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags07.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1438" data-original-width="2048" height="450" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5WwYdLrkc58/YBMC3xtx9II/AAAAAAAANu8/-iYVSWjqQO0XL9CTIKC97VY4k352qmsAwCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h450/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags07.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />One of the few things I sewed this past year for Christmas was this Sonic waistbag for my son. I made my first Mochi bag, a <a href="https://www.blogger.com/u/0/#">free pattern</a> by Sew Chibi, back in June 2019, a girl's L.O.L. version for my birthday girl. I sure had a very bad day when I sewed that one up because when you compare both it's hard to believe the same person sewed them. 🤣🤣 As you know though, we're not here for the bling and I have no problem at all to show you my failures too. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z0HcYbcsk4M/YBMEus6XuMI/AAAAAAAANvI/dLx_6cfbUK0vs4a_v4tPPobN6n0dIushwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2026" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z0HcYbcsk4M/YBMEus6XuMI/AAAAAAAANvI/dLx_6cfbUK0vs4a_v4tPPobN6n0dIushwCLcBGAsYHQ/w634-h640/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags01.jpg" width="634" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Well... is it still a failure if your kid adores it and wears it like crazy? Maybe it's not such a failure after all! Just saying! Anywayssss... So, I made that first one as a birthday present for my girl who was turning 8 and had a LOL themed party (I also sewed her a dress to match, should look for those photos), which she was crazy about back then... One year and something forward, and there goes her love for such dolls. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mHk4Up4IYig/YBMF206AL2I/AAAAAAAANvU/8WYuHaHTvNgTVZyOCwOTvUQQ3wFS6MlcACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1837" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mHk4Up4IYig/YBMF206AL2I/AAAAAAAANvU/8WYuHaHTvNgTVZyOCwOTvUQQ3wFS6MlcACLcBGAsYHQ/w574-h640/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags03.jpg" width="574" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For hers I used the same fabric I had bought to sew the dress, and the L.O.L. applique was a sticker she gave me. I then ironed some plastic on top and sewed it to the front piece. It still lasts, shiny as new. I clearly failed the sewing lesson this time, I was even able to mess the side tabs by placing them upside down. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sm_6JsHy3kg/YBMHLmSjHVI/AAAAAAAANvg/ceHzUTU9XPobMIxqMhlNuw56JzR8BiTywCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_estrela_mochibag06%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1340" data-original-width="2048" height="418" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sm_6JsHy3kg/YBMHLmSjHVI/AAAAAAAANvg/ceHzUTU9XPobMIxqMhlNuw56JzR8BiTywCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h418/House_of_estrela_mochibag06%2Bcopy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Ever since, my youngest also wanted one for him too. I said I would make it, but time just kept passing and nothing. Every now and then, he would see his sister's and remind me he had asked for one too. It's just that the sewing list is always growing, and I don't sew as much as I'd like anymore. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HgOkkQSPh5w/YBMMv6hRKwI/AAAAAAAANwE/qyZuiHfKPSQgUPpeBKqGaCZ2IlTj7QSDQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1294" data-original-width="2048" height="253" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HgOkkQSPh5w/YBMMv6hRKwI/AAAAAAAANwE/qyZuiHfKPSQgUPpeBKqGaCZ2IlTj7QSDQCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h253/House_of_Estrela_Mochibags04.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>I also have the adult version of the Mochi bag but didn't get a chance to try that one too. So much going on, so much sadness. If anything could go wrong, 2020 was the year to happen. I'm so glad we've just kissed it goodbye, though I don't believe that by miracle, everything will be different in January. Let's pretend, even for a while though, and be so happy for 2021 to be here, and with it, new hopes and dreams for us all. May it bring us the most important in life: health, love, goals and the strengh to achieve them. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">I didn't make any resolutions for 2020, as I am not making any this year. It looks as though, I somehow had low expectations for the year that was approaching. If you look back, I posted for the last time in May <span style="font-size: xx-small;">(back in 2019)</span>. Covid helped a little and pushed me back into sewing a bit more, and posting about some of my makes again. I actually didn't just<i> sew a little bit more</i> this year, I did sew a lot more, most of which were masks, I still have people asking me to sew them some, basicly every week. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">As I just said, I made no resolutions for 2021 either. There are a few things I'd like to achieve, and I'd like to go back to, such as sewing more for myself and posting more about all the things I sew/create. I already did one shirt for me in the weekend, and have also put up together, a little video with all the makes from the past year. Not only sewing, as there are cement weights too, and christmas last minutes gift ideas. There's also some Barbie pillows and a blanket that Gabriela sewed for her dolls. Some pieces made it to the blog, others did not, and might still make it here sooner or later. I only forgot to add my last make of 2020, which was a gift for a little girl, but I'll surely post about that later. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwELe3Hks57_a44YnNwAQ9F5qZkAbonQUxM4gwf_y9gZ01s7PIzdwTCiHGqiwhLc7I9f0FLtG_HK3oIeofhpA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><p></p>Magdahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07247442966829636679noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432192910642217762.post-64531009392360990352020-11-12T08:00:00.001+00:002020-11-12T08:00:04.590+00:00Rerelease of The (Buzz Puffer Coat and) Mackinaw Coat by DbCA<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-06YwGsPIjSU/X6m8ghM_6QI/AAAAAAAANqA/SjWrj3Swmu4_nxSLHdDsGr2uKWwKFz3VQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1366" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-06YwGsPIjSU/X6m8ghM_6QI/AAAAAAAANqA/SjWrj3Swmu4_nxSLHdDsGr2uKWwKFz3VQCLcBGAsYHQ/w426-h640/house_of_estrela_mc_7.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I just had the chance to work with one of my favorite people of the sewing community, again, that is Ajaire, from <a href="https://www.blogger.com/u/0/#">Designs by Call Ajaire</a>... and it was great. I had my mind all set on sewing only the things that were really necessary for my kids, but somehow I found myself signing to sew yet another coat for my daughter... of course, she has at least 5 more, but I just couldn't pass on the chance to try on the Mackinaw coat. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g8MgJPRbgAM/X6m8_htXLrI/AAAAAAAANqI/Oe4Ova2w3UAE90IzoS_arU071keDnByEgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1366" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g8MgJPRbgAM/X6m8_htXLrI/AAAAAAAANqI/Oe4Ova2w3UAE90IzoS_arU071keDnByEgCLcBGAsYHQ/w426-h640/house_of_estrela_mc_4.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And it payed off. The girl loved it so much! She's been a picky rat and it kinda makes me frustrated when I think she's gonna love something and then she doesn't. It isn't, but IT IS one of those so worth the time and work you spend on them! Besides, in case I just scared you away because you've only sewn a t-shirt in your life; don't worry, you can still sew it, the pattern comes with great instructions you just have to follow, and with patience, you'll end up with a great coat for your little one, and you can drool over it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qUl1mNgsAps/X6m7Fja5YJI/AAAAAAAANp0/9EKXWSaRc-YOItwb_mKxk9p63cDkS7YEwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1367" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qUl1mNgsAps/X6m7Fja5YJI/AAAAAAAANp0/9EKXWSaRc-YOItwb_mKxk9p63cDkS7YEwCLcBGAsYHQ/w428-h640/house_of_estrela_mc_3.jpg" width="428" /></a></div></span><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Don't believe me? Just look how beautiful it gets on the inside? It is fully lined and depending on your choice of fabric it can be pretty warm and cosy too. I used a medium weight cotton for the main, and this absolutely adorable polka dot satin in one of her fave colors. I actually bought this one and the same day, I knew where I'd use it. Not what I bought it for - as I had a cute set of top and shorts, as in pajamas for me, but well, I gave it a use use anyway. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QimmZqj3G7M/X6m90_S-8LI/AAAAAAAANqY/64kC-IoFwMQjGrlxDejvXg3gogXmKlDJgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1366" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QimmZqj3G7M/X6m90_S-8LI/AAAAAAAANqY/64kC-IoFwMQjGrlxDejvXg3gogXmKlDJgCLcBGAsYHQ/w426-h640/house_of_estrela_mc_2.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">What about this back? I love the back. I love when I sew a pattern and it has something new to me. I had never sewn a belt loop like this before, so interesting. And just one more thing... How did this girl grow up so much? Or when? Because I look back and it seems she was just a tiny little human not long ago. Her shoulders are nearly as wide as mine, I know I am small, but gosh, she's 9. I made her a size 10, which fits her as you can see, BUT, if it wasn't for the too short sleeves, it would fit me to - as a shorter kinda coat, of course <span style="font-size: xx-small;">(yes, I do like to try her clothes too...ahahaha). </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JECDaIkRDTk/X6m_x38JB7I/AAAAAAAANqo/_MOpCH4oVYgUfHEGCFso6ON54HCSx6OGACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1366" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JECDaIkRDTk/X6m_x38JB7I/AAAAAAAANqo/_MOpCH4oVYgUfHEGCFso6ON54HCSx6OGACLcBGAsYHQ/w266-h400/house_of_estrela_mc_5.jpg" width="266" /></a><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VRO0jtLNJYQ/X6m_x4lEJTI/AAAAAAAANqk/CqLVsm1eDyMbSy5Ig4B_4Gd7DdWqpniugCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/house_of_estrela_mc_6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1366" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VRO0jtLNJYQ/X6m_x4lEJTI/AAAAAAAANqk/CqLVsm1eDyMbSy5Ig4B_4Gd7DdWqpniugCLcBGAsYHQ/w266-h400/house_of_estrela_mc_6.jpg" width="266" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And there you go. If you were to ask me for a single designer to recomend you, I'll surely point her out. Her designs are actually day-to-day pieces, the kind my kids wear the most. <a href="https://www.sucobysusana.com/blogs/blogue" target="_blank">Check her blog out</a>, for more pants and shorts inspiration (boys and girls). </div>Magdahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07247442966829636679noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432192910642217762.post-86995996459425016532020-10-21T22:34:00.028+01:002020-10-21T22:38:34.566+01:00More underwear<div style="text-align: justify;">I can't say that underwear is THE thing I've been sewing the most around here these days, because I'd be lying, only because masks requests have been more than many, and I just can't say no. I guess I could say that underwear, is indeed the second most sewn in this house for the last couple of months. I don't know if anyone remembers I did a one year no buying clothes<a href="https://www.blogger.com/u/0/#"> back in 2013</a>, and recently I just felt like I needed to do something like that again, I was going no control lately. OK. I did these underwear pieces before I made the decision again, but I guess somehow I was already made up about stopping the waste around here. Waste of our money, waste of my time... So, when I say my kids always had and still have a lot of clothes, I's no joke, or at least, it looks like too much for me, anyway. They do have plenty enough to go through each season without the need to buy anything... except for... yeap... drum roll... underwear! They get lots of hand-me-downs from their cousins and also some friends, so when each season changes, I know I am prepared. However, underwear is something that isn't passed away as the rest of the clothes and they get shorter on these, eventually. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z04u68gti7s/X4TM4GJChmI/AAAAAAAANno/TsHqa5m_JbcCbAs8A0Jeqv7ijUKL_MTUACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_20200913_113945%2Bcopy.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z04u68gti7s/X4TM4GJChmI/AAAAAAAANno/TsHqa5m_JbcCbAs8A0Jeqv7ijUKL_MTUACLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h480/IMG_20200913_113945%2Bcopy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">So, this brings me to my post today. A couple of weeks ago, I got both my kids a few new pieces - well, only one for him, and a new set for her, but more are coming for him, that's for sure. Anyway... I had bought my son three new boxers and one day, looking at them, I thought "I should do this, instead of buying more", and I did. I used those RTW boxers to draft the pattern from, making it a bit bigger to last a little longer. Then I grabbed a striped shirt from my refashion pile (I should refashion more often again, shouldn't I?), and in a blink of an eye, I had the boxers done. For the waistband I used leftovers from a pre-loved baby onesie I didn't even know I still had. I found it on a quest for red knit fabric, on my own stash.</div><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ykp-_UjtnAM/X4TOU61ZRiI/AAAAAAAANn0/O9Zc7pfZuRsf0n5ITsAy_UmkYR0fnY6pQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/before%2Bcopy.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ykp-_UjtnAM/X4TOU61ZRiI/AAAAAAAANn0/O9Zc7pfZuRsf0n5ITsAy_UmkYR0fnY6pQCLcBGAsYHQ/w300-h400/before%2Bcopy.jpg" width="300" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">This is the shirt I used. I will hunt any striped knit shirts at op-shops and markets, especially if they are red, or black. This shirt was cute as it was, but it didn't fit me, and the lettering on the front... just, no, no! I've put it to a much better use, I am sure. </div></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S4PeMZc8muU/X5CduvFUHtI/AAAAAAAANo8/p6ezkoRGw1EUF8p46YiR9-UFULrjAZ6sgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/002.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S4PeMZc8muU/X5CduvFUHtI/AAAAAAAANo8/p6ezkoRGw1EUF8p46YiR9-UFULrjAZ6sgCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h480/002.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">All said about his piece, let's see her entire set now. This isn't anything new either when it comes to two of these pieces, I used the very same patterns I have used before for the top and the panties. The socks though, it's a different story. It is the first time I used the pattern, and might as well be the last, at least if it is to sew for my girl again, which is a shame, they fit her so well. The socks look beautiful, but she can't stand the seams on her toes, she just tried them on, never really wore them.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2t1Z1ZkcaNc/X5Cdk1D4suI/AAAAAAAANo4/61xpAyag40MhYwEqcWmZCE5t0nhupAMbQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/001.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2t1Z1ZkcaNc/X5Cdk1D4suI/AAAAAAAANo4/61xpAyag40MhYwEqcWmZCE5t0nhupAMbQCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h480/001.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I bought this fabric from Paula <a href="https://www.blogger.com/u/0/#">@Serafina</a> a few years ago, and been saving it since then. It was just half a meter and was right enough for the three pieces. I almost had no scraps left when I was done. I was so happy to used it to it's most and make somethin I really enjoyed seeing after all. It might be my favourite so far. Not only because of the fabric I used, but also because I payed a little bit more attention to detail in this one, and instead of following the tutorial for its finishings, I encased the seems and it looks much better like that, outside and inside. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; I blogged about most things already, but since I am not as good at blogging my creations as I was a few years ago, I failed to share one of the things I made as being part of a pattern test, and turned out to be one of the things my kiddo used the most. I grew up surrounded by all sorts of dolls (although Barbies were my number one), and really thought it would be the same with her. Until she was about two, I didn't give up hoping she'd play with baby dolls, but turns out I got an intelectual and her favourite things were books, puzzles, drawing, painting... except for the time we had her baby brother, when she'd carry a baby doll all around, she really didn't pay much attention to those. I'm fine with that now. I got to sew her so many clothes, she has been my own baby girl doll... and I just get extra happy when I get the chance to sew these sort of items for my friends daughters. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GMAIVwWTJ0g/X0Uhux7JEYI/AAAAAAAANjk/nMWTrFRHTlw_V6Uf4x80bSBqojQOIlwIACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/002%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1547" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GMAIVwWTJ0g/X0Uhux7JEYI/AAAAAAAANjk/nMWTrFRHTlw_V6Uf4x80bSBqojQOIlwIACLcBGAsYHQ/s640/002%2Bcopy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TB0V2HHMoNQ/X0UhpgqPmNI/AAAAAAAANjg/m205Gw4hxpUFqhenk9e_W1JezThJ6-fWgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/004%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1729" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TB0V2HHMoNQ/X0UhpgqPmNI/AAAAAAAANjg/m205Gw4hxpUFqhenk9e_W1JezThJ6-fWgCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/004%2Bcopy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This baby doll bed was one of the things I once hoped to make my daughter, but never got the chance to. I made it for my friend's daughter a while ago though. I started by searching for a free pattern – I was using this only once – and I found <a href="https://www.pinterest.pt/pin/492722015462926604/" target="_blank">this one</a>, but I liked <a href="https://www.madeeveryday.com/2013/11/the-baby-doll-basket-pattern-is-here.html/" target="_blank">this other one</a> much more. I knew I could easily draft this on my own and that's what I did, my own version, own measurements and all that. However, you can get the well written/tested pattern, from a proper designer, with three different sizes available <a href="https://www.madeeveryday.com/2013/11/the-baby-doll-basket-pattern-is-here.html/" target="_blank">HERE</a> (this is not sponsored). </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NDmI6RXDgKo/X0UiFPo_oHI/AAAAAAAANj4/EixVIoPSJbcU4iIjw6s_IRyrDCzQYSVEwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/003%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NDmI6RXDgKo/X0UiFPo_oHI/AAAAAAAANj4/EixVIoPSJbcU4iIjw6s_IRyrDCzQYSVEwCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/003%2Bcopy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c4GyIxtvknA/X0UiDfcfusI/AAAAAAAANj0/lDHcBhfL3EIS_peh8ty6Zk4EyRdTGZXrgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1314/005%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1314" data-original-width="1140" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c4GyIxtvknA/X0UiDfcfusI/AAAAAAAANj0/lDHcBhfL3EIS_peh8ty6Zk4EyRdTGZXrgCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/005%2Bcopy.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For the bed's main fabric I used the one I bought to make some Christmas presents about two years ago (links below) and for the lining, I used some curtains cut offs. pattern test I seemed to come across. Meaning, most of the times, I
sew things that weren't actually on the list of things I'd really
like to make – not meaning I don't love making them, just that they
made their way to come out ealier, stealing sewing time from things

I made myself some new underwear! Just because I have a very tiny
memory, I can't tell which piece I sewed first, the bra or the
panties. Since that isn't important either, I will start by telling
you about the bra. I actually used a bralette pattern, the <a href="https://daydreampatterns.com/product/bella-bralette-and-cami/" target="_blank">BellaBralette</a> by Day Dream Patterns to be precise, which I tested
and shared with you back <a href="http://houseofestrela.blogspot.com/2017/12/new-pattern-alert-bella-bralette-and.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>. This is a pattern meant for lace but I
wasn't happy enough by hacking the bralette into a bra, I also had to
make it with knit and lace. </font>

yes, there's more, that said knit, was actually re-used from a

these were just scraps I had left. As you see, they were enough
(though just quite) for the whole set. Because I have these huge
boobs (NOT really), I also had to adjust the damn cup size,
shortening a bit the smallest size. Never did that on a bra before,
but it went just fine, and I never had a selfmade bra fitting so well
– oh wait, this is my actual real bra ever. I had a little help
from Susana's tutorial on how to turn a bralette pattern into a bra

</div>

<b>To finish the set of posts about the patterns I tested for the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/project-watercolor-beach-capsule-wardrobe-collection/">latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook</a> (<a href="https://houseofestrela.blogspot.com/2020/06/project-watercolor-beach-capsule.html">here</a>), there's only one left, which might have also been my daughter's second best choice, it is the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/chromium-cropped-hoodie/" style="text-align: justify;">Chromium Cropped Hoodie</a><span style="text-align: justify;"> (</span><a href="http://www.callajaire.com/shop" style="text-align: justify;">Designs by Call Ajaire</a><span style="text-align: justify;">). </span></b></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Just as for the other pieces, I did her a size 9 and it was spot on. She picked from all option, cropped lenght, long sleeve, hoodie with bear ears. She was truly happy to try it on and I think she wore it for two days in a row. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>This fabric was handed to me by my friend Patrícia, and it was perfect for this one since it calls for a non very stretch fabric. Unfortunately the piece of fabric wasn't much and I barely had enough to finish my garment. I had to improvise to make it to with the waistband, I'll tell you how in a bit. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cK1pENQzw9Q/Xwg9feKgLuI/AAAAAAAANhc/mwwaaOIZw-AOArtErr6lvTLYSWVQzPRwQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1175" data-original-width="1544" height="486" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cK1pENQzw9Q/Xwg9feKgLuI/AAAAAAAANhc/mwwaaOIZw-AOArtErr6lvTLYSWVQzPRwQCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/001.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>This is again, one of these patterns that are a very good investment due to the many design options but also the size range available. For instance, this one goes from newborn to 16Y (even I could sew for me with this one if I wished to, since I'm both slim and short). </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gg7k4ZeGJ9U/Xwg-4begmzI/AAAAAAAANhw/7i7sc5xe8TE6MmVMQideV5GqMSCQiI7kwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/005%2Bpatch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gg7k4ZeGJ9U/Xwg-4begmzI/AAAAAAAANhw/7i7sc5xe8TE6MmVMQideV5GqMSCQiI7kwCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/005%2Bpatch.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>And this is how I made it up when I realised the fabric wouldn't be enough to cut my waistband in an only piece. Luckily for me, I had just enough to patch two bits, allowing stripes on the fabric to match as well. I sewed them both together and then covered it up with a bias tape. I can always say it's not a mistake, it's a design touch. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PizAcaaLi9k/Xwg_joe0mjI/AAAAAAAANh4/W7bkwEwnf2sVcBc4tpb-ybjJhNe2P23zgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="923" data-original-width="1600" height="368" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PizAcaaLi9k/Xwg_joe0mjI/AAAAAAAANh4/W7bkwEwnf2sVcBc4tpb-ybjJhNe2P23zgCLcBGAsYHQ/s640/001.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>As I said before, I also mede the boy a sweatshirt too but it was too hot for this already and he didn't want to do a shoot with it on. I didn't want to bother him with that either. Not having a better fabric for him, I used one of his cousin's sweatshirts, and again I turned it the other way around, using the back as the front. For the cowlneck I used a scrap left from another dress I made for the girl (still to share). </b></div>

Na última publicação, partilhei mais sobre o molde <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/marigold-pants/">Abby's Marigold Pants</a> (The Wolf and the Tree), seguido do <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/viridian-swimsuit/">Viridian Swimsuit</a> (<a href="https://www.ajennuinelife.com/product/viridian-swimsuit">Jennuine Design</a>). <div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Two posts ago I quickly shared the latest pieces I made, which were part of the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/project-watercolor-beach-capsule-wardrobe-collection/">latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook</a> (<a href="https://houseofestrela.blogspot.com/2020/06/project-watercolor-beach-capsule.html">here</a>). In my latest post, I shared more about the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/marigold-pants/">Abby's Marigold Pants</a> pattern (The Wolf and the Tree), followed by the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/viridian-swimsuit/">Viridian Swimsuit</a> pattern (<a href="https://www.ajennuinelife.com/product/viridian-swimsuit">Jennuine Design</a>). Today I am sharing two patterns by <a href="https://www.sucobysusana.com/collections/moldes-de-costura">Suco by Susana</a>, the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/golden-dress/">Golden Dress</a> and the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/lemon-tee/">Lemon Tee</a>.</b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">GOLDEN DRESS </span></b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1223/7634/products/GoldendresslinedrawingsEN_1200x.jpg?v=1593723233" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="752" data-original-width="800" height="600" src="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1223/7634/products/GoldendresslinedrawingsEN_1200x.jpg?v=1593723233" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>This dress doesn't have a lot of options to chose from but hnestly it doesn't need them. I really liked sewing this and the girl loved wearing it too. Again, Susana's patterns stand out by having clear instructions and excellent finishing touches. Even in the simplier of her patterns. </b></div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jY_rbk1qEtE/XwdHJb1RDlI/AAAAAAAANgk/zdMPMMhg_vQn1-jNy1Q1ZQOv3ccl4JHMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/2020-04-03%2B11.01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jY_rbk1qEtE/XwdHJb1RDlI/AAAAAAAANgk/zdMPMMhg_vQn1-jNy1Q1ZQOv3ccl4JHMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/2020-04-03%2B11.01.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zU1IKQjJHfE/XwdHI96nipI/AAAAAAAANgg/oDzkgZyNKUkS_qN6HiwzHkn4lVVbqnSWQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/2020-04-03%2B11.03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zU1IKQjJHfE/XwdHI96nipI/AAAAAAAANgg/oDzkgZyNKUkS_qN6HiwzHkn4lVVbqnSWQCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/2020-04-03%2B11.03.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Here's another example of a simple pattern that fits perfectly on my youngest. For his t-shirt I used a second hand (but never worn) adult tee that I got at a flea market because I liked the print on it, only it was on the front on the original one. I used it for the back. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--DPVwGZHeQ0/XwdHbd1Xs4I/AAAAAAAANg4/Eonge1A4etgDzjhSZHy3Ldx0zDNWuCrOwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/magda%2B02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1044" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--DPVwGZHeQ0/XwdHbd1Xs4I/AAAAAAAANg4/Eonge1A4etgDzjhSZHy3Ldx0zDNWuCrOwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/magda%2B02.jpg" width="208" /></a><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MQMH60BHJkU/XwdHZztyoKI/AAAAAAAANg0/HR_THJW9fOIdrcNn_T90l8J9cVN-_81qACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/magda%2B04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="988" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MQMH60BHJkU/XwdHZztyoKI/AAAAAAAANg0/HR_THJW9fOIdrcNn_T90l8J9cVN-_81qACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/magda%2B04.jpg" width="196" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>I made the simpler version of this piece for the fact that my little boy doesn't like any seams on his belly or back. All labels on ready to wear have to be cut out no matter how soft they might be for the same reason. As you can see above though, there are many options for this pattern too, so you can make a unique piece with it, which one you like better? If you'd like to see the last piece I made for the collection, come back tomorrow. </b></div>

O primeiro é o molde <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/marigold-pants/">Abby's Marigold Pants</a> (The Wolf and the Tree), seguido do <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/viridian-swimsuit/">Viridian Swimsuit</a> (<a href="https://www.ajennuinelife.com/product/viridian-swimsuit">Jennuine Design</a>). </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>In my last post I quickly shared the latest pieces I made, which were part of the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/project-watercolor-beach-capsule-wardrobe-collection/">latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook</a> (<a href="https://houseofestrela.blogspot.com/2020/06/project-watercolor-beach-capsule.html">here</a>). I promised to show each one of them in more detail and that's precisely what I am starting doing now, with these two patterns, that you can find,not only over at PR&P collection, but also over each designer's site too. The first is the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/marigold-pants/">Abby's Marigold Pants</a> pattern (The Wolf and the Tree), followed by the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/viridian-swimsuit/">Viridian Swimsuit</a> pattern (<a href="https://www.ajennuinelife.com/product/viridian-swimsuit">Jennuine Design</a>). </b></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>This one might be one of my daughter's fave pieces. She's a girl who likes to move and really, really likes to feel comfortable. From all the options available, we picked the simpliest, in the longest version. </b></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>The sizes available in this pattern goes from 3M to 14Y, which makes it a damn good investment, since it is a piece I am pretty sure I'll make again, so it won't be used a single time. </b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Another good thing to add to the good size range available, is that according to what fabrics you choose, this pattern can be used all year long, suitable to all seasons. The shorts version is probably making it to my to do list soon, though we all know that list is already long... </b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>When I first saw the test call for this pattern's test, I was delighted with the vintage design of the bikini option, and I was even happier when I was selected for said test. There are numerous available options and you get to play around with color blocking, among other choices. </b></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fiz a versão de duas peças, todo forrado e com as costas tipo <i>racerback</i>. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>I did the two pieces option, fully lined and racer back top. I wish this one went through 14Y too, but it doesn't though, it goes up from newborn to 12Y. I did size 9 for her on both pieces (bikini and pants above). </b></div>

</div>

<b>I really have to get some new fabric and make another one for this girl, she's so pale this fabric does not suit her at all. <b><span style="background-color: white; color: #444444;">Not everything that Covid brought was bad, to me, for example, it brought back the sewing desire, and with that the opportunity to be part of this cool project, since I was able to take part in five pattern tests from the<a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/project-watercolor-beach-capsule-wardrobe-collection/"> latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook</a> (check more about over at </span><a href="http://www.projectrunplay.com/2020/05/designer-collection-4-project.html?utm_source=bloglovin.com&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FGbrHK+%28Project+Run+and+Play%29" style="background-color: white;">designer collection</a>).

<b>SO, today I m sharing a quick tour through all the pieces I sewed from this collection, and soon, I hope to be able to share every single one of them in greater detail, starting with the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/viridian-swimsuit/" style="background-color: transparent; color: #999999;" target="_blank">Viridian Swimsuit</a>, bikini version here- Me and the girl were in love with the vintage inspired bottoms. The fabric color might not have been the greatest choice due to her very pale tone of skin, but I didn't have a lot to chose from when it comes to swimsuit fabric. I only had a scrap from this one which I bought in Spain a few years ago, and had it been needed a little bit more and I couldn't use it at all, it was right the amount I needed to make it. The pattern is beautiful, and I am sure I'll be using it quite a few more times, as long as I can find the greatest fabrics. </b></div>

</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<b>Next I am showing you the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/golden-dress/" style="background-color: transparent; color: #999999;" target="_blank">Golden Dress</a>, which I believe was the first of all these to be made. I can't sew the kiddo anything before asking for her opinion, she's quite sure of what she wants to wear or not. She loved it (and very seldomly she likes dresses), so we went through picking fabric together as well. I used this buffalo check cotton I bought with a mommy and me look in mind, because it is a print we both love. The finished piece made us both pretty happy. </b></div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<b>The <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/chromium-cropped-hoodie/" style="background-color: transparent; color: #999999;" target="_blank">Chromium Hoodie</a> comes next, it is one of the pieces she enjoys wearing the most. For this test I made two pieces, a first one for him, and a second (final) for her, where I allowed her to pick from all the options available, and just like with the dress, the fabric was also her choice. For the first test, I refashioned their cousin's hoodie, which was bigger, into a new one for my boy- He wasn't quite happy with it because of the neck option I made him, but truth is it was already getting too warm for him to wear that back when he tried it on. </b></div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<b>Another piece I made was the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/lemon-tee/" style="background-color: transparent; color: #999999;" target="_blank">Lemon Tee</a> for him. Here I also used a pre existing tee to refashion into a new one. In both of them, this and the one I mention above, I used the same tip, turning the front piece to the back and the back to the front. This is one of those patterns we are sure to use over and over, bacause t-shirts are one of the essential pieces in any kid's wardrobe. </b></div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #444444; text-align: justify;">
<b>And to finish, here's the <a href="https://projectrunandplay.com/product/marigold-pants/" style="background-color: transparent; color: #999999;" target="_blank">Abby's Marigold Pants</a>, which are perfect for this super active, sportswear loving girl of mine. In this picture, she's wearing them with the top of the bikini, and she couldn't be more proud of it. I had purchaised this fabric to make some shirts for the hubby, but it looks as good as pants on her. I still have quite a bit left, maybe dad gets lucky sometime. </b></div>
