#MeMadeMade 2017 - Week Three Wrap Up -

Continuo a portar-me muito bem, no que a mim me diz respeito. Até aqui, estou a conseguir cumprir com aquilo que me desafiei a fazer. Uma peça diferente, costurada por mim, a cada dia, e sem repetir. Agora começa a apertar e a ficar mais difícil porque noto que já usei a maior parte das peças que mais utilizo no meu dia a dia. Fiz muita mais roupa do que a que ainda tenho, e o que me sobra são peças que visto muito ocasionalmente. Vamos ver se ainda faço mais algumas ou se me desenrasco por mais 11 dias sem repetições com o que já tenho. Será? 

I'm still going good when it comes to myself. So far, I have been keeping my own goals. One handmade piece daily, no repeats. It starts to get harder now because I seem to have used most of the pieces I wear on a daily basis already. I made much more clothes than those I own right now, and the ones I still got left I use very seldom. Let's see if I get to sew some new ones, or if I can get away with the ones I already have for another no repeat 11 days. Will I?

Não posso dizer o mesmo dos miúdos. O pequenino até vestiu algumas peças esta semana, mas repetidas, por isso nem tirei foto, e ela, coitada, esteve de quarentena, pela varicela, em casa. Saiu na quarta feira e mesmo assim só para ficar no carro. Nem lhe cheguei a tirar foto, só mesmo ao vestido, despido e abandonado pelo quarto. Na sexta ficou com o pai e escolheu ela mesma um vestido feito por mim - que orgulho!

I can't tell the same about the kids. The youngest did wear a few handmades but they were repeats so I didn't even bother to take a photo of. As for her, she's been staying home on quarantine, for her chickenpox. She left the house on wednesday just to stay in the car. I didn't even manage to take a pic of her, only of the dress undressed and abandoned in her room. On friday she stayed with dad and chose by herself a mommy made - I was so proud!

#MeMadeMade 2017 - Week Two Wrap Up -

Nem acredito que já passámos o meio do mês e que me tenho mantido fiel ao desafio. Apesar de não ter publicado no IG todos os dias, isso não significa que não tenha mantido o meu compromisso (comigo mesma, claro!) de usar uma peça feita por mim, a cada dia deste mês. Estou a tentar não repetir nenhuma. Já o mesmo não posso dizer dos miúdos. Nesta semana que passou, só publiquei uma ou duas fotos deles e desde domingo que nem tenho prestado muita atenção ao que vestem. Ela ficou em casa desde segunda, está com varicela. 

I can't believe we've past half month and that I have kept myself in the right path of this challenge. Although I haven't posted daily on IG this past week, it doesn't mean I haven't been keeping my self compromise of wearing one handmade piece daily. I am trying to have no repeats. I can't say the same about the kids though, I might have posted one or two pics of them and I haven't been paying much attention to what they are wearing since Sunday. My girl is home  since monday with chickenpox.

#MeMadeMade 2017 - Week One Wrap Up -

Pois que estamos novamente em Maio. E este é o mês em que somos desafiadas a usar as coisas que costurámos para nós. Já falei mais sobre isso o ano passado, e AQUI fica o link para quem não sabe de quê falo e possa querer ficar a saber mais. Mas este ano fui ainda mais longe, e aceitei o desafio paralelo que a Jen do blog A Jennuine Life lançou. Não só me propus a vestir roupa feita por mim durante todo o mês, como pretendo vestir os miúdos com peças feitas à mão todos os dias do mês, ou pelo menos tentar. No que a eles diz respeito optei por vestir os dois ou apenas um, como tiver que ser, o que já acontece durante o resto do ano também. 

So it is May again. This means it is the month we are challenged to wear our handmades everyday. I talked about this last year, so if you have no clue and feel curious, read about it all HERE. This year I took it further though, and accepted the challenge from Jen over A Jennuine Life. Not only will I wear my handmades, my kids will wear theirs too every single day this month - or at least try. When it comes to them I chose to wear one of them or both, depending on how things go, just like it's happening the rest of the year. 

E então, como me tenho portado este ano? Até aqui tudo a correr muito bem. Consegui vestir uma peça minha - pelo menos - todos os dias desde que começou o desafio. E aos miúdos também. Comecemos por mim. 

So, how's it going? So far so good. I was able to use - at least - one handmade piece daily since day 1. And so have the kids. Let's start with me.
