Transformação de vestido floral

Fez ontem um ano que andei por aqui pela última vez. Não voltei a ser presença frequente, mas hoje lembrei-me outra vez. Ontem partilhei uma transformação de um vestido no instagram e tive muitas respostas ao mesmo, por isso achei que seria boa ideia deixá-lo por aqui também, e ver se consigo retomar ou não. 

Então, comprei o vestido através da Vinted. Ando a renovar o meu roupeiro porque mais do que nunca sei qual é o meu estilo e procuro peças que o preencham. Já desisti de comprar roupa nova, e não me vou alongar nos motivos, não desta vez. Só compro roupa usada, ou faço-a eu mesma. 

Anyways... isto para vos dizer, que as cores não abundam no eu roupeiro, sou monocromática, o branco e preto são a minha cena, mas também deixo entrar alguns florais, e uns pontos de mostarda, vermelho, alguns verdes... E foi o caso deste vestido. Na altura achei que precisava de vestidos de verão e gostei do padrão deste, nem reparei nas tranças presas nas alças... 

Além desse detalhe horroroso, e apesar do vestido ser um S, que é o tamanho que eu visto, quando chegou, vi logo que era enorme para o tamanho que indicava. Quando o experimentei senti-me dentro de um saco de batatas. 

O vestido "maravilha" era assim:

Comecei por separar a parte de cima da parte de baixo. A de baixo não me incomodava, era a de cima que tinha de trabalhar. Também retirei logo as tranças e o elástico da cintura. 

Usei um molde da Marlene Mukai para criar um novo top para o vestido. O tecido que sobrou foi mesmo à conta, e ainda fiz uns pequenos folhos que adicionei às alças. Com os retalhos de um outro tecido, ainda forrei esta parte superior do vestido para um melhor caimento. Queria ter podido refazer as alças, um pouco mais largas, mas já não tinha como. 

Na parte de trás, precisei de fazer uma abertura na saia também, para poder colocar um fecho invisível para vestir e despir a peça, uma vez que agora estava mais cintado ao corpo. E ficou-me tão bem esse fecho invisível logo à primeira, que acho que só um olho treinado consegue perceber na segunda foto aqui em cima, e com todas as costuras casadas. 

Suco by Susana's new pattern |Sagres Pants & Shorts|

My friend Susuana, by Suco by Susana has a new pattern out there, it is the Sagres pattern, in her words "a relaxed fit pants or shorts designed for woven fabrics, with elastic waist and no zip or closures for easy getting dressed". This was originally designed to be part of One Thimble magazine, and you can now find it in her shop. 

Again, I was lucky to be part of Susana's testers group and I really enjoyed making these. Actually I made a pair of pants too, but they turned out too baggy on my skinny boy, they will fit later though, so hopefully, I will remember to take some photos and share them with you. 

The shorts fitted pretty well though, and he got to wear them quite a few times until the weather got cold enough to set them apart - for now. Because of the elastic waist, I am sure they will still fit next summer and he'll be able to still enjoy his cute shorts. 

I failed to photograph the before, but this was a chambray men's button up shirt that I refashioned into the boy's shorts. I used a much darker thread while sewing to achieve some contrast and try to make this even more interesting. As always, I love to sew with Susana's patterns, she's very professional in her work, and her finishing details stand out. If you were to ask me for a single designer to recomend you, I'll surely point her out. Her designs are actually day-to-day pieces, the kind my kids wear the most. Ginger Shorts |Liola Patterns|

Back in April, as I had to stay home I got to sew a lot, especially for the kids. I blogged about most things already, but since I am not as good at blogging my creations as I was a few years ago, I failed to share one of the things I made as being part of a pattern test, and turned out to be one of the things my kiddo used the most. These are my final version of the Ginger Shorts, a pattern from Liola Patterns.

This is a straight size 5 on my boy. I haven't done another pair yet, and I am not one to repeat the same patterns over and over, but I see myself sewing at least another pair when the weather starts to warm up again next year (because we are going into Autumn right now, around here). 

He wore these quite often, because they are comfy and easy to put on and off with an elastic waistband, which is a must for my lazy boy, and being a breeze to sew, with a different finished touch, they are a good pick for me too, because I get to cloth my child in a blink, and we're both happy. 

We both love the original design for the pocket shape, and it is of course, what makes this different than just a pair of simple, plain shorts. You can also style this shorts by adding trim or piping to the seams, but I skipped that option. 

This is a good pattern to use when you want to use up some scraps, or refashion a piece that is too small to refashion, because you can play around with the different pattern pieces and mix and match a couple fabric options. 

In my case, I chose to refashion a women's mini pencil skirt, but - there you go - the fabric I could use from it, was not enough for the entire shorts, so I picked this cotton one I had recently purchased, which has two different sides to it, and used the plain one as contrast in the pockets area.

The Bella Bralette Hack and the Betty Panties

I made myself some new underwear. Yes! It has been on my to-do list for quite a while, but it's no news I don't sew as often as I did before, and when I do, it is often something for the kids, gifts or some pattern test I seemed to come across. Meaning, most of the times, I sew things that weren't actually on the list of things I'd really like to make – not meaning I don't love making them, just that they made their way to come out ealier, stealing sewing time from things that were thought and wished long before they were. Get ready, because I am feeling wordy today!

Anyway, I made myself some new underwear! Just because I have a very tiny memory, I can't tell which piece I sewed first, the bra or the panties. Since that isn't important either, I will start by telling you about the bra. I actually used a bralette pattern, the BellaBralette by Day Dream Patterns to be precise, which I tested and shared with you back HERE. This is a pattern meant for lace but I wasn't happy enough by hacking the bralette into a bra, I also had to make it with knit and lace. 

And... yes, there's more, that said knit, was actually re-used from a t-shirt. I used part of that t-shirt for my boy's shorts (here) and these were just scraps I had left. As you see, they were enough (though just quite) for the whole set. Because I have these huge boobs (NOT really), I also had to adjust the damn cup size, shortening a bit the smallest size. Never did that on a bra before, but it went just fine, and I never had a selfmade bra fitting so well – oh wait, this is my actual real bra ever. I had a little help from Susana's tutorial on how to turn a bralette pattern into a bra pattern.

 

And now that I've mentioned Susana, this might be the right time to mention that I recently got the Betty Panties pattern from Suco by Susana and I was eagerly wanting to try this one out, because again, making myself some new underwear was something I was planning to since a while ago. And what can I say? I was pretty much satisfied with it, so much so, I have at least three more planned on my list. 

There are a few views for this panties and I did view F to start, next on my plans is view D. I did make panties for myself before, you can see them HERE, and I am happy to say both patterns have the perfect fit for me. Ever since I made all of them, they became part of my fave and I wear them more often than I wear most of my ready to wear panties. They're all so comfortable. 

 

There are a few more undies patterns I'd like to try, and I can't wait to, but I won't tell you to come back soon for them, as I don't really know when that might happen. One thing I'd really like to try to make, is a lace body, oh I love them so, but never pondered making one as much as I have lately. Should I? Could I? What about you? Have you tried sewing underwear before? I promise is not as scrary as it might be in your head.

Chromium Cropped Hoodie

Para finalizar esta série de publicações dos moldes que testei para o último catálogo do Project Run and Play  (aqui), já só nos resta o que terá sido talvez o segundo preferido da minha filhota, o Chromium Cropped Hoodie (Designs by Call Ajaire). 

To finish the set of posts about the patterns I tested for the latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook (here), there's only one left, which might have also been my daughter's second best choice, it is the Chromium Cropped Hoodie (Designs by Call Ajaire). 

Como nas outras peças, fiz-lhe o tamanho 9 e ficou perfeito. Foi ela quem escolheu todas as opções, cropped, manga comprida, capuz com orelhinhas de urso. Estava verdadeiramente feliz quando o estreou, acho que o usou durante dois dias seguidos. 

Just as for the other pieces, I did her a size 9 and it was spot on. She picked from all option, cropped lenght, long sleeve, hoodie with bear ears. She was truly happy to try it on and I think she wore it for two days in a row. 

Este tecido foi-me dado pela amiga Patrícia, e era perfeito para este projeto, que pede um tecido com pouca elasticidade. Infelizmente era retalho não muito grande, e quase que não tinha suficiente para terminar a peça. Acabei por improvisar para cortar e costurar o cós, mas já vos conto como. 

This fabric was handed to me by my friend Patrícia, and it was perfect for this one since it calls for a non very stretch fabric. Unfortunately the piece of fabric wasn't much and I barely had enough to finish my garment. I had to improvise to make it to with the waistband, I'll tell you how in a bit. 

Este é mais um daqueles moldes que se tornam um bom investimento devido às mais variadas opções de escolha no design da peça, mas também pela quantidade de número disponíveis. Por exemplo, este vai até aos 16 anos (o que para uma baixinha, magrinha como eu se torna ainda melhor, de certeza que até para mim eu podia costurar com ele se me desse na real gana). 

This is again, one of these patterns that are a very good investment due to the many design options but also the size range available. For instance, this one goes from newborn to 16Y (even I could sew for me with this one if I wished to, since I'm both slim and short). 

E foi assim que me desenrasquei quando percebi que não tinha tecido suficiente para cortar o cós numa só peça. Felizmente dava para fazer um enxerto casando as riscas do tecido. Uni os dois pedaços de tira e depois, pelo lado direito costurei uma fita de viés para tapar a costura. Posso sempre dizer que não é erro, é design, toque especial. 

And this is how I made it up when I realised the fabric wouldn't be enough to cut my waistband in an only piece. Luckily for me, I had just enough to patch two bits, allowing stripes on the fabric to match as well. I sewed them both together and then covered it up with a bias tape. I can always say it's not a mistake, it's a design touch. 

Como já tinha dito, também fiz uma para ele, mas não chegámos a tirar fotos decentes, o miúdo sentia calor com a sweatshirt e não quis massacrá-lo sem necessidade. Na falta de um tecido apropriado, reciclei uma sweatshirt do primo, e aqui também usei a frente nas costas. Para a gola, usei um retalhinho de tecido que sobrou de um outro vestido que fiz para a miúda (por partilhar ainda). 

As I said before, I also mede the boy a sweatshirt too but it was too hot for this already and he didn't want to do a shoot with it on. I didn't want to bother him with that either. Not having a better fabric for him, I used one of his cousin's sweatshirts, and again I turned it the other way around, using the back as the front. For the cowlneck I used a scrap left from another dress I made for the girl (still to share). 

Project Watercolor Beach Capsule Wardrobe Collection

Nem tudo o que o Covid trouxe foi mau, a mim, por exemplo, trouxe-me a vontade de voltar a costurar, e com isso a oportunidade de fazer parte de um projeto espetacular, uma vez que pude participar nos testes de 5 moldes, todos parte do último catálogo do Project Run and Play (vejam mais sobre isso em designer collection). Na imagem abaixo estão mencionados 4 dos 5 moldes que testei, as calças devem ter ficado esquecidas por lapso, pois como podem ver elas aparecem na última foto. Assim sendo, testei o Viridian Swimsuit, Golden Dress, Chromium Hoodie, Lemon Tee e Abby's Marigold Pants. 

Not everything that Covid brought was bad, to me, for example, it brought back the sewing desire, and with that the opportunity to be part of this cool project, since I was able to take part in five pattern tests from the latest Project Run & Play pattern lookbook (check more about over at designer collection). In the picture below there are mentioned 4 out the 5 patterns I tested, the pants must have got forgotten in the edits, but as you can see, they are pictured too. So that said, I sewed up 5 patterns from the collection: the Viridian Swimsuit, Golden Dress, Chromium Hoodie, Lemon Tee and Abby's Marigold Pants. 

A meio de Abril porém as coisas complicaram-se, e eu não pude acompanhar melhor estas designers que fizeram um trabalho espetacular. A saúde do meu pai agravou de repente, e acabou por deixar-nos a meados de Maio. Tive que desistir de mais um teste quando estava mesmo prestes a começa-lo, e deixei passar mais um que gostava de ter testado também. Tão pouco pude ajudar na divulgação da coleção assim que saiu. Mas eu não conseguia. 

Half way through April, things got messy around here and I wasn't able to follow the designers wonderful job as much as I'd like to. My father's health got really bad, and he eventually left us by the end of May. I had to leave another test I was about to start behind, and let pass another I'd have enjoyed testing too. I couldn't even help promoting as soon as it came out as I planed. I just couldn't. 

Assim que hoje, mostro-vos muito por alto cada uma das peças que fiz e em breve, espero mostrar-vos cada uma delas mais pormenorizadamente, começando com o biquini (Viridian Swimsuit). Tanto eu como a miúda ficámos encantadas com as cuecas de inspiração vintage. A cor do tecido talvez não seja o mais apropriado para o tom de pele dela, tão branquinha, mas eu não tinha muita escolha de material para fato de banho. Tinha apenas um retalho deste que comprei há um par de anos na Espanha e que foi mesmo à medida, mais um pouco e não conseguiria ter feito nada com ele. O modelo é lindo, e tenho a certeza que o irei usar mais vezes, assim que consiga encontrar algum tecido que faça o click.

SO, today I m sharing a quick tour through all the pieces I sewed from this collection, and soon, I hope to be able to share every single one of them in greater detail, starting with the Viridian Swimsuit, bikini version here- Me and the girl were in love with the vintage inspired bottoms. The fabric color might not have been the greatest choice due to her very pale tone of skin, but I didn't have a lot to chose from when it comes to swimsuit fabric. I only had a scrap from this one which I bought in Spain a few years ago, and had it been needed a little bit more and I couldn't use it at all, it was right the amount I needed to make it. The pattern is beautiful, and I am sure I'll be using it quite a few more times, as long as I can find the greatest fabrics. 

A seguir mostro-vos o vestido (Golden Dress), que se não me engano foi a primeira das cinco peças a ser feita. Já não costuro nada sem perguntar antes à miúda se gosta ou não do modelo, é muito decidida com o que quer ou não vestir. Ela adorou (e raramente quer vestidos), então lá estivemos também ambas a escolher o tecido. Um algodão que tinha comprado a pensar num mommy & me look, uma vez que é um padrão que ambas adoramos. Ficámos as duas encantadas com a peça final. 

Next I am showing you the Golden Dress, which I believe was the first of all these to be made. I can't sew the kiddo anything before asking for her opinion, she's quite sure of what she wants to wear or not. She loved it (and very seldomly she likes dresses), so we went through picking fabric together as well. I used this buffalo check cotton I bought with a mommy and me look in mind, because it is a print we both love. The finished piece made us both pretty happy. 

Segue-se então o hoodie (Chromium Hoodie), uma das peças de vestuário que ela mais gosta de usar. Para este fiz duas peças durante o teste, a primeira para ele e uma final, para ela, onde a deixei escolher de todas as opções disponíveis, e como com o vestido, escolheu o tecido também. Para o primeiro teste, para dele, reciclei um hoodie maior do primo. O rapaz não ficou muito satisfeito com a gola, mas também já fazia algum calor para essa peça quando tentei experimentar nele. 

The Chromium Hoodie comes next, it is one of the pieces she enjoys wearing the most. For this test I made two pieces, a first one for him, and a second (final) for her, where I allowed her to pick from all the options available, and just like with the dress, the fabric was also her choice. For the first test, I refashioned their cousin's hoodie, which was bigger, into a new one for my boy- He wasn't quite happy with it because of the neck option I made him, but truth is it was already getting too warm for him to wear that back when he tried it on. 

Outra das peças que fiz foi a Lemon Tee para ele. Aqui também optei por usar uma peça já existente e dar-lhe nova vida. Em ambas peças, esta e a que menciono acima usei a mesma dica, a parte da frente. Este é daqueles moldes com garantia de ser usado uma e outra e outra vez, pois t-shirts são peças essenciais no guarda roupa de qualquer criança. 

Another piece I made was the Lemon Tee for him. Here I also used a pre existing tee to refashion into a new one. In both of them, this and the one I mention above, I used the same tip, turning the front piece to the back and the back to the front. This is one of those patterns we are sure to use over and over, bacause t-shirts are one of the essential pieces in any kid's wardrobe. 

E para terminar, mostro-vos as calças (Abby's Marigold Pants), que são perfeitas para uma miúda super ativa que adora roupa confortável e desportiva como a minha. Na foto veste-as com a parte de cima do biquini, e andava super vaidosa do conjunto. Tinha comprado este tecido para fazer umas camisolas para o pai, mas fica-lhe tão bem como calças nela. Ainda sobrou muito, pode ser que o pai tenha sorte. 

And to finish, here's the Abby's Marigold Pants, which are perfect for this super active, sportswear loving girl of mine. In this picture, she's wearing them with the top of the bikini, and she couldn't be more proud of it. I had purchaised this fabric to make some shirts for the hubby, but it looks as good as pants on her. I still have quite a bit left, maybe dad gets lucky sometime.

Natsu Shorts |Pattern by Sew Chibi|

Fui encontrar mais umas fotos perdidas de um outro molde que testei para a Sew Chibi e que nunca chegaram ao blog. Desta vez foi o molde Natsu Shorts*, nem sequer tenho umas fotos assim mais ou menos para vos mostrar, mas não queria deixar passar, uma vez que, como é sabido, gosto muito dos moldes Sew Chibi, falo tanto deles e a maior parte nem sequer tinha publicado por aqui.

I found a few more lost pictures from yet another pattern I tested for Sew Chibi, and has never made it to the blog. This time it is the Natsu Shorts*, I don't even have better pictures of these to show, but I didn't want to let it go by, since, as you guys know, I really like Sew Chibi's patterns and I keep saying it but most of the patterns I haven't post yet. 

Além disso, os dois que fiz caem na categoria da reciclagem e do reaproveitamento daquilo que já temos e achei por bem falar sobre isso. Como podem ver pela primeira foto, fiz dois calções com o molde, um para ele, outro para ela. Comecemos pelo dela, para qual utilizei as mangas e uma tira que sobraram de uma t-shirt que já tinha reaproveitado para um outro projeto. Usei também os restos de uma malha (que usei aqui) e ainda uma t-shirt que ela adorava e que já não servia. 

Besides, both shorts fall under the refashion and what we already have upcycle cathegories, and I wanted to mention that. As you can see for the above photo, I made two of these with this pattern, one for him and one for her. Let´s start with hers, in which I used sleeves and a  piece I had left from a shirt I refashioned for a previous project. I also used a knit scrap (that I used here) and a pre-loved, outgrown t-shirt of hers. 

 

Usei então os restos da primeira para fazer o cós e os punhos das pernas. O tecido de malha para o corpo principal dos calções e a t-shirt dela foi reaproveitada para dar mais personalidade à peça. Escusado dizer que a miúda adorou e que os calções foram usados infinitas vezes. 

So I used the first shirt scraps for the waist and leg bands. The knit fabric was used as mais and her t-shirt was used to add a bit of persosnality to the piece. I don't need to say she loved it so much and these got to be worn over and over. 

É uma pena que já não sirvam... confesso que eu também gostei imenso do resultado. Temos gostos parecidos, eu e a mini me.

It's a shame they don't fit anymore... I confess I really liked them a lot too. We have very similar taste, my mini me & I. 

E depois dos dela, vamos aos dele. Também reciclei duas peças de mulher. Uma t-shirt às riscas e uma outra toda preta e simples. A ideia, se bem me recordo era fazer o corpo dos calções às riscas mas não conseguia cortar as duas peças da peça original que eu tinha, porém, não deixei de a usar por isso. Consigo ser tão teimosa quando quero.

And after hers, let's see his.  I also got to refashion, two women piece this time. I used a striped t-shirt and a plain black one. The idea was to use the striped one as main for the legs but it wasn't possible to cut both legs from that shirt, however, I didn't stop using it because of that. I can be very stubborn when I want to. 

E é aí que entra o desafio criativo que tanto me motivo nestas coisas. Então, usei a dita t-shirt para fazer uma das pernas dos calções, e usei a preta para a outra. Para o cós usei a preta também, e nos punhos das pernas, troquei os tecidos para criar um contraste engraçado. Gostam? 

There's when the creative challenge kicks in and I get so motivated. So, I used the said t-shirt for one of the legs only, and the other one, the black, for the other leg. For the waistband I used the black shirt too, and for the legbands I swapped the leg and the band fabrics for a fun contrast. Do you like it? 

Tal como os dela, estes calções tornaram-se uns dos nossos preferidos e tiveram imenso uso. São fáceis de fazer para nós, e fáceis de vestir e despir para eles. E claro, super confortáveis, o que é muito importante por aqui.

Just like happened to hers, these became some of our fave shorts and they were worn over and over. They are a quick sew for us, and pretty easy to put on and off for them. Oh, and of course, they are super comfy, which is madly important around here. 

E aquela barriga fofinha aqui em cima? O meu pequenino tem sido sempre tão difícil de fotografar, é que ele não consegue não se mexer por mais de dois segundos. Enfim, ao contrário do que fiz nos calções dela, nos dele optei por não colocar o cordão na cintura (e mesmo o dela, acabámos por retirar pouco depois pois ela não gostou muito).

Look at that cute tummy above? My little man has always been sohard to photograph, he just can't stand still for more than two seconds. Anyway, contrary to what I did on hers, his shorts do nor have a tie at the waist, I skipped it for his (and even in hers we took it out short after because she didn't like it much).

Wool Vintage Dress into Long Coat

Há alguns meses atrás vi um casaco de lã bastante parecido ao da foto abaixo. Forreta como sou, achei que o mesmo custava mais do que eu estava disposta a pagar, principalmente porque eu não estava mesmo a precisar de um novo casaco, e além disso, sou baixinha e tanto os casacos como os vestidos compridos das lojas nunca me servem. Porém, levei uns dias a pensar nele, o que significa que gostei mesmo dele.

A few months ago I saw a coat at a local shop pretty similar to the one below. Cheap as I am I thought it costed more than I was willing to spend, especially because I really didn't need a new coat, and to add to it, I am too short to buy ready to wear long coats. I kept thinking about it for a few days, which is a sign I really liked it.

Depois passou-me algo pela cabeça. É que eu tinha este vestido de lã vintage na minha pilha de "para reciclar", a cor bem parecida e tudo. Era ainda "novo"- com etiqueta. Comprei-o por 1€ mais uma vez, na tal loja maravilha a que eu ia e que agora fechou de vez. Comprei-o porque era muito tecido, e bastante quente para o preço. 

Then something crossed my head. I had this wool vintage dress in my "to refashion" stash, color very similar to the one I saw. It was "new" - tag on. I bought it for 1€ again, at that wonderful shop I used to buy from, and can't anymore because it''s closed for business. I bought it because it was a lot of warm and heavy fabric to use for that price.

Não era a coisa mais bonitinha, mas vi-lhe potencial. Originalmente tinha duas pregas em cada lado na frente e na parte de trás, com punhos e carcela num veludo castanho. As mangas também têm as pregas, mas não lhes toquei, e ainda não estou muito convencida. 

It wasn't the prettiest thing but I saw potential. It originally had two pleats on each side of the front and the back, with cuffs, collar and button placket on a velvet brown fabric. There were pleats in the sleeves, which I didn't change, but I'm still not sure about it. 

E ficou assim depois das alterações que lhe fiz. Um casaco longo em lã como eu queria. Bem, na verdade sinto que poderia ter algumas melhorias, mas já lá vamos. Deixem-me guiar-vos nas alterações feitas. Para começar, descosi as costuras da feia carcela e desfiz as pregas. Cortei o que sobrou do tecido, usando-o assim nos grande bolsos que adicionei na frente e nas vistas. 

After the changes I worked, this is what I got. A new, long wool coat just like I wanted to. Well, actually I feel like I still could work on it a bit, but we'll go there. Let's me guide you through the changes done first. To start, I unpicked the ugly button placket and undid the front pleats. I've cut the extra fabric I got after doing so, and used it for the new big pockets I added on the front. I also used the rest of that fabric to make the bindings.

Atrás, desfiz as ditas pregas e criei uma mais larga no centro. A principio queria apenas coser no centro e usar o tecido sobrante para outra coisa qualquer, como punhos novos ou um cinto, mas ficava muito estranho. Optei por fazer assim e acabei sem tecido a mais para o resto. Os punhos originais foram à sua vidinha, e consegui dar um bom valor de costura na bainha dos mesmos, que costurei à mão. 

On the back, I unpicked those pleats too, and created a single one in the middle. At first, I thought about just adding a seam in the middle and cut the excess fabric to use elsewear, as new cuffs or a belt, but it didn't look too good. I chose this option though and was left with no more fabric for the rest. The original cuffs were gone, and I was able to sew a nice size hem, which I sewed by hand. 

Precisa de cinto. Eu sei. Estou a ponderar cortar um pouco da altura depois de ver as fotos, mas entretanto o tempo aqueceu, por isso não creio que o faça antes do próximo inverno (ahahah). Essa bainha foi toda ela costurada à mão, tal como o acabamento nas vistas. Mantive o colarinho feioso, já não tinha tecido para o substituir, no entanto, consigo viver com isso. E esta foi uma das primeiras coisas que costurei quando começou a quarentena, tal como a primeira transformação em meses, já tinha saudades. 

A belt is needed. I know. I am considering cutting a bit on the bottom after doing these photos, but in the mean while the weather got warmer and I don't think I'll do it until next winter (ahahah). That hem was also hand sewn as well as the binding finishes. I kept the ugly collar, I had no fabric left to swap it, but I believe I can live with that. And this was one of the first things when quarentine started, as well as my first refashion in months, I missed it.
